First of all let me start out by saying thank you for your service to your country. I know it is not easy leaving friends and loved ones at home and travelling half-way around the world to serve your country. But this country is at war and we really need you to help keep our country safe from terrorists; both here and abroad.
I also left everything I held dear to me in order to fight for my country in Vietnam. I, and every veteran I know, hold you in the highest regard. We salute you for your sacrifice and wish you a safe and speedy return.
